Asbestos encapsulation being applied to 6500sqm of roof
ABM has completed a number of Industrial and Education projects, encapsulating asbestos roofs using a two stage, spray-applied asbestos encapsulation system.
A waterborne penetrating treatment is applied to the weathered asbestos cement sheeting, which soaks through the lichen and degraded asbestos, binding these unstable elements. The second stage of the process is to apply a topcoat to complete the encapsulation process.
